NEON

Even though it is better to wear white during summers, a bit of colour doesn't hurt. Neon has been quite the rage since last year. While some went bold with sporting the trend in dresses, skirts or denims, the faint hearted went for accents through their accessories like shoes or jewellery.
Here I'm wearing a bright orange top which I paired with rolled up denims. First I thought of white pants but then that ended up looking a bit too bright and when nothing works out a pair of good old denim is always there. I threw in a pair of heels which have an interesting combination of a neutral and neon colour and I topped it off with a pair of yellow neon earrings.

Camo lovin

So leggings are my new obsession. I spotted this pair and i knew I had to have it. This camouflage print is just wow! Most people might be like there's no difference between these prints so what's so special about this one. But there is always a difference between the colour combinations and that is what makes this pair amazing. The colours are dark and it blends and mixes well with each other. And coming back to the leggings itself, its just so comfortable that I could wear this anywhere and everywhere.

So, I'm wearing these leggings with a super over sized beatles vest and silver sneakers and a silver neckpiece.

Summer Splash

I never really wore lipsticks until like last year. Even when I did it was mostly neutral shades as I always wore a lot of eye makeup. The first bright shade I bought was hot pink and I loved it. It was a maybelline 14 hour lipstick and it was brilliant. Then I bought red and I literally started wearing it with everything. Lately I've been obsessed with a new shade which is ORANGE. It's summer time and orange is a very bright shade and very apt for the season. It's warm and fresh and perfect for teenagers like me.
Today in this post I'm sporting a very summer look which mainly highlights my new found love for orange lipstick and my flower clip. I stay in a metro city and people aren't too experimental here so I don't really get a chance to wear this flower clip so when I wanted to shoot a summer make up look I knew what to wear. This look is very apt for a beach look with the orange lipstick, messy hair and a flower clip but with the whole wingtip eyes this can also be worn to a brunch or a day at the race course or just any super fancy day event. Minus the wingtip this look can also be teamed with a pair of shorts and a tank top for a casual look. Since I love wingtip and that's how I wear my liner most of the time I couldn't do away with it.

Scarlet Details

Its peak summer and the scorching heat is getting to everyone. So, I decided to wear something which wasn't too casual but kept me cool. I decided to wear this white shirt with a white high waisted skirt as nothing can beat white during summers. The shirt is a simple cotton shirt with cutwork and soft collars which makes it casual and the skirt is a cotton skirt. I wore a red louis vuitton bag and red bow wedges. The bow gives my outfit a cuteness quotient and a good amount of red adds some colour. I tied my hair in a side plait as I wanted to avoid the unnecessary sweating with my hair open. I completed my look with red lips to balance the colour of my accessories.

Celebrating Colours

It's that day of the year when Indians all over the world celebrate the festival of colours, Holi. Holi is known as the festival of colours because people play with colours. In every corner of india friends and families get together to smear each other in colour and have a good time. India has plenty of festivals but Holi is special. It's what india is known for, COLOUR and CULTURE.
It can get a bit nasty with all those colours all over you and people attacking you with all sorts of colours. It's literally madness but a bit of it is good. But the colours do persist for a few days even after you've applied everything under the sun to remove it. Holi is celebrated all over the country and I must mention the amazing food. God I love it. The sweets are to die for and there's this drink called 'thandai'.

Gujiya, a stuffed sweet which is a holi classic.

Thandai, a popular drink during holi.

Holi colours

Here are a few pictures before I ended up looking like sort of a smurf with blue colours from head to toe.

Holi is not exactly the day for dressing up as all your clothes get spoilt anyways. So I was wearing a white kaftan with shorts but I wore these chandelier earrings and a silver cuff because I wanted to doll up a bit.

Flower Power

So bomber jackets were a big hit this winter. I love the floral print on this jacket. Now that winters are over I feel bad because I have to wait an entire year to wear it again. From the moment I saw this jacket I knew I had to own it. The black makes it very versatile even though the print kind of limits my options of teaming it with everything. Bomber jackets have a very easy going silhouette which thus can be worn with skater dresses to bodycons. This jacket is just so comfortable and I literally wore it with everything. It was just the right thing to be traded with blazers because I was kinda bored of wearing structured silhouettes.

I teamed this jacket with a black skater skirt and a black crop top. To break the monotony and add some colour I wore silver sneakers and red lipstick.

Skirt: H&M

Can't even think of a title.

My exams are on and I'm exhausted and I don't feel like studying anymore. I'm sleep deprived and I look like a zombie. So here's a quick post which makes me look very much human and normal.
I'm wearing my mom's vintage gold and emerald earrings. They're a statement piece and versatile enough to be worn with pretty much everything.

I wanted to highlight the earrings so I just teamed with a white top, a pair of denim shorts and nude heels.
